On October 8, 1621, the Khotyn peace treaty was concluded between the Commonwealth and the Ottoman Empire. This agreement put an end to the Polish-Turkish war of 1620-1621 and established the border between the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Ottoman Empire on the Dniester.
