At one of the exhibitions of abstract art, John Lennon met the eldest of seven years, the Japanese artist Yoko Ono.

“Some kind of nonsense, not creativity,” he shared his impressions with his wife Cynthia Lennon in the evening. Yoko Ono will write in his diary: "Finally, I met a man whom I could love."

Yoko - married, the mother of a 7-year-old daughter - started sending music cards with mysterious inscriptions: "Dance", "Breathe", "Look at the lights before dawn". Then bored calls. Lennon changed his phone number several times.

The artist began to write letters. I was threatened that they would chain themselves to the gate if they didn’t let her go to John: "You are my last hope. I can’t do this anymore. If you don’t support me, I will kill myself."

Six months later, Cynthia found in the kitchen of his house Yoko. A woman in her silk robe sat and drank tea. The Japanese woman got her way: Lennon announced a divorce, called his son Julian "the fruit of a drunken conception" and spent all day sitting around Yoko.

"This is a man with whom I could negotiate or quarrel as with a longtime friend. But I could still love her. She could pat me on the head when I was tired, sick or depressed. In general, it looked like I would win a big prize - Lennon would later tell. “We are one soul in two bodies."

Influenced by Yoko, he began to wear round glasses, which became part of his image. The second wife began to form another Lennon, a non-Beatles musician. She was accused and is still being blamed for the breakup of the group.
