A letter written by Albert Einstein a year before his death and addressed to the philosopher Erich Gutkind will be put up for auction in New York.

In the letter, the scientist expounded his deep views related to God and religion. The great physicist also argues in him about the Jewish people and moral values.

“For me, the word God is nothing more than an expression of human weaknesses, and the Bible is a collection of respectable, but rather primitive legends. Not one of the most subtle interpretations will change my point of view,” writes Einstein.

According to experts, for it will be available from 1 to 1.5 million dollars. In 2008, it was acquired by a private collector for 404 thousand dollars.
