Pit, catacomb, log cabin: 16 burials of various cultures found in Kherson region

On the territory of the Kherson region on the Arabat Spit, archaeologists discovered 16 graves of various cultures in a bronze epoch.

7 burials belong to the Yamna culture, 1 - to the catacomb culture, 1 - to the Srubna culture, 2 burials belong to the late medieval nomads, 3 - left to the settlements of the Babye cultural circle and 1 left by representatives of the nomadic Sarmatians.

Fragments of weapons and ceramics were also found by archaeologists.
