From the auction house Christie's in New York filmed a self-portrait of Pablo Picasso "Sailor" to send him to the restoration.
The painting, exhibited for $ 70 million, was damaged on May 11. The circumstances of the incident are not disclosed. The canvas belongs to the 76-year-old American billionaire Steve Winn.
In 2006, he accidentally damaged another Picasso cloth due to a disease that affects the lateral vision. Showing a work of art to friends in his office in Las Vegas, the billionaire accidentally got his elbow into the canvas, having made a hole in it.
