Zhytomyr in the early 1900s: a selection of retro photos

These photos show the picturesque suburb of Wrangelku with pasture above the water. The Teterev River, along which citizens moved by boat. In those years, a city theater, a men's city gymnasium, a theological seminary, a public library, and a water tower operated in Zhytomyr.
