The lack of education did not allow Thomas Edison to carry out mathematical and technical expertise of his developments and his constructive solutions relied almost exclusively on his own intuition.

A public demonstration of a new recording device made Edison world famous.

This was only the first of his discoveries, which fundamentally changed the second half of the XIX century - Edison designed the incandescent lamp, a movie camera prototype, and a film projector.
