Last summer, the media was struck by a find in the Swiss Alps near the ski resort of Le Diabler. These were the remains of Marcelain and Francine Dumoulin. They were considered missing since August 15, 1942.

After the DNA test and identification, the identity of the dead were established. Spouses found lying next to each other. Near them were their backpacks, a bottle, a book and a watch.

For more than 75 years, the fate of Marselen and Francine Dumoulin was unknown. At the time of the disappearance, the spouses had 7 children who were sent to foster families after they disappeared.

According to experts who studied the remains, a man and a woman probably fell into a crevice and froze to death.
