Very often, the history of a silver object is much more valuable than the object itself, and this is one of the beautiful aspects of our life. But, since we are talking about the antique market, you cannot do without a highly professional assessment. So what affects the cost?

- Sample products (of course, if we are talking about the sale of silverware or other dishes made of precious metals);
- Weight (mainly in cases where antique tableware is not unique, does not represent undoubted historical value and is made of precious metal);
- Place and date of production;
- Safety and condition (especially for items with glass inserts, precious metals, which, for all their merits, are the most vulnerable);
- Complete or incomplete set (full set is more expensive than incomplete);
- The presence of the manufacturer’s stamp (ideally, the author’s stamp of a famous master).
