Bolivian archaeologists have discovered tombs in which, along with human remains, there were many artifacts. Their age, according to scientists, exceeds 500 years.
Geographically, these tombs are located 30 km from the state capital. They belonged to the indigenous people of Aymara, who once inhabited this region. The Bolivian Ministry of Culture and Tourism authorized the excavation more than three months ago.
“We found two separate graves. In one of them 108 people were buried. The graves were in a terrible state, but we managed to restore the objects that were in the burial, ”said archaeologist Wanderson Eskerdo.
