In 1830, the Polish national liberation movement began under the slogan of restoring the independent historical “Rzecz Pospolita”. It lasted until October 21, 1831.

In 1899, the Barcelona Football Club was founded - one of the most titled clubs in Spain and in the world in the total number of official trophies - 69 (25 are Spanish champions, 30 are Spanish Cups, 13 are Spanish Supercars, 2 are Spanish League cups). It was created by a group of Swiss, British, Spanish and Catalan footballers headed by Joan Gamper.

1963 - DC-8 disaster near Montreal, killing 118 people. The total flight time elapsed from the beginning of the takeoff and until the moment of collision with the ground was 5 minutes and 15 seconds. The actual cause of the disaster cannot be named with certainty. At the time of the events, this was the largest plane crash in Canada with the participation of DC-8.

In 2009, a referendum was held in Switzerland, the result of which was a ban on the construction of minarets. The voter turnout at the same time was 53%. 57.5% of citizens who took part in the voting spoke against construction.
