The picture is one of the favorite artists of its owner ruined cat British art historian Bendor Grosvenor.

In 2015, he acquired a painting by English portrait painter Michael Wright for £ 5250. In view of the long-term exposure to high humidity, it was damaged — condensate often appeared on it. Bendor Grosvenor was engaged in its restoration.

During one of these restorative procedures, the art critic's cat jumped onto the picture. After this “jump,” according to the expert himself, the cost and recovery time will increase significantly. Grosvenor also added that the situation would have become even more complicated, jump the cat onto a part of the portrait with a face, and not with clothes.
