In the village of Leskov in Cherkassy, there is an unusual palace, which is guarded by the military.

In the 50s of the XIX century it was built by Kazimir Dakhovsky. It is believed that for a long time this family was haunted by the beauty of the Sofiyivka estate. To wipe Potocki's nose, Dakhovsky and decided to build a palace in the style of an English medieval castle. It was decorated with amazing gardens with rare plants.

In the Soviet era, the estate was transferred to the military and was given the status of a regime facility. Later there was a pioneer camp, a military hospital, and a drug store.

Now this palace is owned by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and access to it is possible only by special permission.
