City of hundreds of temples: Kiev at the beginning of the 20th century in retro photographs

Something like Kiev looked like a few years before the outbreak of the First World War. Most of these photographs were taken at the studio “Gudshon and Gubchevsky,” which was located at Proreznaya 23.

Gudshon is an active participant in the exhibition movement of the Daguerre Kiev Photographic Society. For his work, he received a lot of awards. Hudshon's partner Gudchevsky was also a famous Kiev photographer who shot private parties, for example, a reception in honor of the German emperor.

In these photos you can see all the main sights of Kiev - the university building, Vladimir Cathedral, Vladimir Hill, the Opera House.
