What could be useful on a cop?

Instrumental search is a fascinating hobby that can bring many interesting and sometimes very valuable finds. Training, in particular, the selection and preparation of equipment, often the most direct impact on their number. So, what should a search engine be equipped with?

1. Metal detector.
If there is more than one device in your arsenal, then when you are going to be a cop, pick up a metal detector that is designed for a specific type of search. It should be with fully charged batteries and an extra set of batteries in case the charge is not enough.

2. Headphones.
Situations on the cop may be different. To use or not to use headphones, you can decide only in specific field conditions.

3. Lightweight and compact shovel.
Without a shovel, it is impossible to retrieve a find, even if the detector detects its location exactly. Also take along a sharpening for a shovel: it will take a little space, but will solve many problems.

4. Special bag or box for finds.
This capacity should not be large. The main thing is to have branches in it. So the finds do not harm each other.

5. Convenient and reliable backpack.
It is not necessary to carry a huge backpack with a cop. It should fit the most necessary items. Additional equipment can be carried in the car, on a bicycle or just left at home.

6. Maps.
Maps orient on the terrain and indicate the location of old roads and abandoned settlements. They can give a tip where the promising in terms of finds were located. It is better to investigate them in advance, and then use electronic gadgets with GPS-navigation, pre-recorded all the interesting objects. They come in handy even after a cop - to analyze the route.

6. Camera.
To fix the finds you can take a camera with you, but it will take up additional space. The ideal solution is a smartphone that will combine both the functions of the navigator and the camera.

7. First aid kit and safety features.
If everything is less or less clear with the first-aid kit, then you can prepare signal rockets, gas cartridges and so on as security aids. You can, of course, do without them, but when everything is provided for, the search is conducted more confidently.

8. Clothing, hats, gloves, shoes, food and water supplies.
As a rule, this set depends on the season, and everyone decides for himself how he will be more comfortable on the search.

9. Additional elements.
Depending on the type of search and environmental conditions, use beach scuba diving for a beach search, a small hatchet for a wooded area, pinpointer for heavily littered areas.
