June 9, 2019 are introduced into postal circulation and are considered valid to pay for postal services of the stamp from the series “Armed Formations of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921”.

The first stamp shows the shooter of the Ukrainian Galician Army (CAA), on the second - the Cossack of the cavalry regiment of the Black Cossacks.

The format of the stamps is 28 mm by 40 mm, the brand sheet is 110 mm by 160 mm The number of stamps on the sheet - 9 (3/3). Printing - offset, multicolor. Circulation - 130,000 copies (each).

Cancellation with a special stamp “First Day” will be held in Kiev in the K-1 department and in the city of Chortkiv, Ternopil Oblast, on the day of the release of philatelic novelties.

The Ukrainian Revolution is a series of events related to the national liberation struggle of the Ukrainian people in 1917-1921.

The February revolution in the Russian Empire became the impetus for the beginning of the Ukrainian revolution. An alternative center of power was formed in Ukraine - the Ukrainian Central Rada (UCR), which became the representative body of the Ukrainian democratic forces and led the national democratic revolution in Ukraine. Mikhail Grushevsky became the head of the UCR.
