Wonderful architectural models combined with vintage furniture

Artist Ted Lott builds wooden works of art based on one of the most fundamental human desires - to create your own home.

Lott explores modern architecture at its core, building tiny scale models without exterior trim, and then combines these nude, but chic structures with vintage furniture.

Lott uses a band saw to produce miniature wooden beams, planks and other raw materials. Antique furniture provides the basis for his works, which are then illuminated from the inside, as if someone lives in this house.

“Like us, these are ordinary structures, nevertheless they strive to be unique, going beyond banality,” explains the author.

“For me, this is the reason for creating such objects, to take the usual and make it extraordinary, emphasizing the possibilities of transformation and growth that are a requirement for the continuation of life and evolution.”
