Near the town of Kukli, UK, a search engine found a treasure using a metal detector.

Silver coins, according to experts, were minted between 153 BC. and 61 AD After examining the discovery, they suggested that the treasure could have been hidden shortly before the Boudicca uprising in 61 AD.

A total of 58 denarii were found. Most of them were minted in the Roman Republic until the year 27 BC. But there were also those who made during the reign of the emperors Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula and Nero.

The most recent coin was minted in the 61st AD, indicating the year of hiding the treasure. According to experts, it is associated with the revolt Boudicki, which covered the whole of central-western England. Probably, the coins hid from the rebels.

Boudicca is the wife of Prasutag, the tigerna of the Brittany tribe of Izenes dependent on Rome. After the death of her husband, the Roman troops occupied her land, and the emperor Nero stripped her of the title, prompting her to lead the anti-Roman uprising of 61 years.
