A Japanese student at the University of Arts Musashino in Kodaire, Nasa Funahara, creates reproductions of famous works of art. She uses the remnants of an old masking tape for this. To convey the entire color gamut of the image, the girl resorts to bright colors.

In the artist's arsenal there are reproductions of prominent artists, including Vermeer, Leonardo da Vinci and Van Gogh. In her interpretation of this mosaic of small sticky pieces. To create one such picture, Nasa Funahar takes 5-6 days.

The masking tape, which helps the girl to create her masterpieces, is made of washi - traditional Japanese paper of different colors, patterns and design. Us passion for such ribbons began with their collecting.

A non-standard approach to the task assigned by the university teacher inspired her to make copies of famous paintings only from this material.

The growth of the personal collection of ribbons was increased by the collection of reproductions: Edward Munch's "Cry" and "The Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Jan Vermeer. Nasa creates more and more new creations, finding time to fulfill private orders from numerous organizations.
