From the Boston Terrier to the Pug: a playful collection of matchboxes with doggies

Continuing his collection of matchboxes with wooden blocks depicting cats, Ravi Zupa has released a collection of "dog" designs. The collection is represented by 10 variants of matchboxes where you can meet different dogs: from the arrogant Boston Terrier to the self-deprecating pug.

“These are parts of our lives with a complex disposition and attitude that never cease to give us joy, even when they are fooling around,” Zupa explained. “This new set of matchboxes is an attempt to give too expressive, stubborn, supportive, unpredictable, confusing and self-sufficient creatures in our lives the recognition they deserve.”

Gravure oil paints were used to create this collection to create tri-color prints. Ravi Zup's works - prints, paintings and sculptures - are inspired by vintage and humor.

Ravi gladly sells original matches to everyone. He even has a little surprise for fans of unusual souvenirs - in each box of matches there is a tiny certificate of authenticity confirming that these matches really came out of Ravi's workshop.
