"Made in China": on the sunken ship found ceramics with an unusual inscription

On the shipwreck, 800 years ago, an archaeologist discovered an inscription that scientists jokingly called "Made in China". This ship was wrecked in the Java Sea near the coast of Indonesia. On it were transported thousands of objects from ceramics.

The remains of the ship were discovered back in 1980. For several decades, archeologists have been raised many artifacts, which are still explored by scientists.

The inscriptions on the ceramics indicated that it was made in Jianning Province of Fu (1162 - 1278), which after the invasion of the Mongols began to be called Jiannin Lu. The researchers suggested that the ship could sink in the late 12th century.
