If they lived in the 21st century: how did the games with the icons of art history end?

A creative studio called Mikeshake came up with an original way to promote your site. For this, its employees decided to dream a little: they played with the icons of the history of art, presenting them in our modern world.

This idea was visualized with a series of funny collages to help rethink iconic artists such as Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dali, Vincent Van Gogh, Andy Warhol. They can be seen as ordinary city dwellers.

To embody their imagination, the studio’s specialists will digitize the images, after combining the portraits of the artists with the bodies of real people. In their interpretation, Salvador Dali becomes a street artist, Frida Kahlo - a modern model, and Gustav Klimt - a lover of craft beer.

“Heroes of our time” were not only famous artists, but also characters of no less famous paintings. Mona Lisa turned into an Instagram star, and Girl with a Pearl Earring became her friend.
