Bulgarian archaeologists have studied the discovered tomb of the aristocrat of the 14th century, and found in it a gold ring with the inscription "George Palaeologus", as well as other jewelry and artifacts. The tomb is located in the fortress Kaliakra, on the black sea coast, where for several years excavations of the graves of the aristocracy. George's ring is very heavy, with a clear pattern – on the surface engraved pigeon on a shaded background. Around it is a text with the name of the owner. Thanks to many other items that were in the tomb, scientists were able to partially restore the order of ritual burial.
