During excavations in Bulgaria found a Roman military document

In Bulgaria found part of the ancient Roman military diploma. The document contains a copy of the order of the Emperor Hadrian – these are usually issued at the dismissal of soldiers who have served more than 25 years. A fragment of the order, issued in 122 on a bronze plate, contains information about soldiers serving in Lower Dacia. The size of the fragment is 4x4 cm.

The discovery was discovered in the city of Develtos, which is located near the Black sea. For 40 years, excavations have been carried out here, during which scientists learn more and more information about the region.
