During repair of roads in the Kirovograd region found a mound

In the Kirovograd region, on the sections of the road N-14, where repair work was carried out, an ancient mound was discovered. According to scientists, the find belongs to the bronze age – in this burial are the remains of people who lived in the time of biblical Moses. In order not to damage the site, the highway service allocated part of the funds for the protection of the mound and archaeological research.

Under a layer of earth archeologists found some granite sculptures - women located in front of a burial chamber which are the most ancient anthropomorphic images expressed in the form of monumental sculptures created in the territory of Ukraine. Human skeletons, a jug and various household items were taken out from under the sculptures. The remains probably belong to ancient pastoralists.
