These photos of the first world war were taken near the village of Ushkovichi, which is located in the Lviv region. In the pictures you can see already disappeared houses, as well as the old temple. A century ago, more than 1 thousand people lived here. In addition to Ukrainians in the village lived poles, Jews and Germans. The first mention of the settlement can be found in a document dated 1370. For some time the settlement belonged to the Lviv order of Dominicans.
