On the island of Khortytsya found an ancient sanctuary

In Zaporozhye, archaeologists found a stone structure with a diameter of 9.5 m and an age of more than 4 thousand years. The complex is located on the island of Khortytsya. Researchers suggest that this sanctuary, in the center of which is a circle of large plates. The find was found near another historical site discovered 6 years ago. Archaeologists do not deny that it may not be just a cult monument, and the whole burial.

The research of the sanctuary will take about a month. Information about the findings is collected like a puzzle, showing a clearer picture. According to researcher reserve Khortytsya Vyacheslav Zaitsev, the discovered stones are at the top of the structure, at the heart of which is a burial.
