The national Bank will issue 5-hryvnia coins by the end of the year

In the near future, the national Bank of Ukraine will issue the first edition of coins with a nominal value of 5 hryvnia. The coins should go into circulation before the end of this year, probably in the fall.
In addition, on October 25, 2019, the issue of banknotes of 1000 hryvnia will begin. At the same time, 1, 2 and 5 cents will be withdrawn from circulation in less than a month, on October 1. Over the next three years, anyone who still has these coins can exchange them for coins and banknotes of other denominations.
