Sotheby's will sell the world's most valuable collection of whiskey

September 27 will open online auction Sotheby's, which is planned to sell a valuable collection of Scotch whiskey. The starting price of the lot is 4.8 million dollars. The collection has 467 bottles and 9 barrels belonging to an anonymous owner. Among them you can find a bottle of Macallan 60 years of aging and 1926 spill. This capacity was estimated at $ 500. The number of bottles with Macallan is 178 pieces, the total cost of which is 2.7 million dollars. As for the oldest instance, it was springbank whiskey 1919 spill – its value ranges from 120 to 170 thousand dollars.
