1000 hryvnia will release a circulation of 5 million banknotes

The first circulation of the banknote 1000 hryvnia will be 5 million copies. In the future, the national Bank of Ukraine plans to issue new banknotes based on the needs of the economy. The size and color of the novelty will be different from other denominations of banknotes, so you can easily identify it. The size of the banknote is 75x160 mm. the Main color is light blue.

The total number of coins of 1 and 2 hryvnia, which were introduced last year, exceeded 260 million pieces. Now in circulation is 140 million 1-hryvnia coins and 124 million coins with a nominal value of 2 hryvnia.
