These old photographs of the village of Milcha, located in the Rivne region, were taken by Austrian soldiers during the First world war. In the early 20th century, the settlement was part of the Volyn governorate, part of the Russian Empire. However, at the beginning of the war, Milcha was captured by Austrian troops.
In the photo you can see the Church of the Nativity of the blessed virgin Mary, built in 1640. In addition, here in 1916 there is an Austrian monument, which is still standing.
