A beautiful lot, exhibited at the auction Violity, got to the new owner - a gold coin minted in circulation 36 739 pieces during the reign of Peter I. a Copy of the nominal value of 2 rubles in 1722 refers to the type with a portrait in armor. The weight of the coin is 4.1 grams, it is made of gold 781 samples. The cost of the lot was 105 150 UAH. Details about the auction are listed on the auction page.

The obverse shows the profile of Peter I looking to the right. Around the portrait is the inscription "ПЕТРЪ•А•ІМПЕРАТ ІСАМОДЕРЪ•ВСЕРОСИСКИ". On the reverse you can see the figure of the Apostle Andrew, who carries the cross. There is also a circular inscription "МОНЕТА НОВА ЦЕНА ДВА РУБЛI 1722".
