France and other countries of the world have printed stamps in honor of Mahatma Gandhi

France has issued a postage stamp to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi. The issue was carried out in the course of cooperation between the Embassy of India in Paris and the French postal company La Poste. The cost of each copy is 1.3 euros. Other countries, including Uzbekistan, Turkey, Palestine and Monaco, dedicated postal products to the political and public figure. For example, in Monaco issued a series of stamps in 40 thousand copies worth 2.1 euros each. Indian communities around the world have held commemorative events in Gandhi's honor.
