Marine archaeologists in the study of the bottom off the coast of Vaxholm (Sweden) found the wreckage of ancient ships. Both warships were built in the XVII century. One of the ships may be the brother of the famous Galleon "Vasa", launched in 1628. By decree of king Gustav II Adolf, several such ships were built, which were designed not only to participate in wars, but also symbolized the successful reign of the Swedish king.

During the study of the wreckage, scientists will analyze the annual rings on the logs-this should help determine what kind of ship is under water. So far, researchers suggest that it is "Applet", built in 1629. The whole body is not planned to be raised to the surface, only some parts can later be exhibited in the Museum.
