In Volyn in one of the lakes found the stamp of the XIX century

In the Volyn region, an old seal was found that once belonged to a Polish nobleman. The object was found at the bottom of one of the Shatsky lakes. The diameter of the round artifact is 20 mm, in the center there is a Latin letter R, and above it a crown. On the reverse side of the seal there is a small eyelet with a hole.

Historians say that such seals were typical of the gentry. They were used in the first half of the XIX century. On the surface there is no coat of arms, only the initial, so it is almost impossible to determine exactly who it belonged to. The seal was sent to the Museum of local lore, where it will be part of the exhibition.
