Bonnie and Clyde: the most famous criminal couple

The infamous Bonnie and Clyde introduced in 1930, one of their common friend. And as this young couple claimed at the time, they immediately fell in love with each other.

By the time of the first meeting, the 21-year-old Clyde has been arrested several times for minor offenses: theft and car theft. 20-year-old Bonnie, in turn, worked as a waitress.

After another release from Clyde prison in February 1932, his gang joined Bonnie. She was directly involved in the robberies of shops and gas stations. But just a few months later they were captured.

Another arrest made Clyde even more aggressive: after his release, he killed at the slightest sense of danger. Bonnie's in jail started writing poems and small stories, which to the present day and reached a romantic story about the adventures of paroxysmal couples. Within a few years after their release, the gang committed more than a hundred robberies and a dozen murders.

Fleeing from persecution, Bonnie and Clyde tried to hide in the town of Joplin, Missouri. But their noisy lifestyle immediately attracted the attention of neighbors who reported them to the police. They tried to arrest to no avail.

In the house where some time criminals disappeared, a set of photos where the couple theatrically posed with the weapon against the stolen cars was found. Some of these pictures literally immediately leaked to the press, turning them into romantic characters.

On may 23, 1934, Barrow and Parker were ambushed on a rural road near the town of Sales (Louisiana), where their "Ford V8 Deluxe" was shot by Texas and Louisiana Rangers: with 167 bullets 17 hit Clyde and 26 — in Bonnie. The car was found a large Arsenal of weapons, several thousand rounds of ammunition and 15 license plates of different States.

The car with the dead quickly gathered a lot of random people who tried to take something from the scene as a souvenir. People cut off the girl's blood-stained strands of hair, pieces of cloth from her dress, even tried to cut off Clyde's finger and ear, broke off pieces of the car.
