In Kharkiv, an ancient Scythian decoration – a diadem of 2.5 thousand years old, was put on display in the Museum. The gold jewel was found this year in the Poltava region, in one of the mounds. Along with the diadem, other items made of gold, pottery, as well as weapons and clothing were presented. The findings were made this year on the territory of the Belsky settlement. In addition, archaeologists then found a unique bead made in the form of a scarab beetle, which was brought here from Egypt. As for the diadem, although it had lain underground for thousands of years, it was still in good condition.
