In 1922, the baby cells were patented in the United States, an invention inspired by the concept developed by Dr. Luther Emmett Holt in 1884 in the book "Care and feeding of children". In his work, the author emphasizes the need for children to stay in the fresh air. Since those parents who did not have the opportunity to spend a lot of time with their children on the street, were forced to find an alternative to walking.
The essence of the cell is to help children better to become tempered and strengthen their ability to resist colds. The invention became very popular in England, where residents of apartment buildings did not have access to courtyards.
