A resident of the British city of Taunton, 66-year-old Alfred Correya, found an ancient artifact in his garage – a small statue in the form of a dog made of jade. According to experts, this amulet can be up to 5 thousand years old. At the same time, the find itself is estimated at 3 million pounds.

The Briton said that his father was once an Indian merchant: he sold precious stones. In the 60s of the last century, he moved to England, where he died in 2002. The amulet had been gathering dust in the garage for years, until the merchant's son began sorting through the trash. Alfred assumed that the amulet had been kept in the tomb with its owner for many hundreds of years, then was seized by tomb robbers and sold on the market.
