In 1945-1946, the Swedish national Council for social protection conducted a study aimed at determining standards and living conditions in major cities and other parts of Sweden. Photographer Lena Böklin made a series of documentary images that show the daily life of Swedish families in the mid-twentieth century. Now these photos are stored in the Sörmlands Museum and remind of the research that took place 75 years ago.
