On March 2, Romania presented a collectible gold coin from the "History of gold of Romania" series. This series focuses on artifacts that relate to Romanian culture. The new product is dedicated to the finds of precious metals that were discovered in one of the former remote outposts of the Roman Empire.

The artefacts depicted come from the Moesia region, which was a Roman province. Today, the city of Constanta, the center of the administrative district, is located here. The settlement was founded in 600 BC. A fortress and a tower were built Nearby.

The coin was issued at a company in Bucharest. The obverse depicts jewels and contains the inscription ISTORIA AURULUI-ORFEVRARIE ROMANA TARZIE and CARSIUM. On the reverse, you can see a fibula and a ring of the late Roman period. The nominal value (10 lei) and the year of issue (2020) are specified. The circulation is 1 thousand copies. The weight of the coin is 1.22 g, the diameter is 13.9 mm.
