Ernest Hemingway is a well-known American novelist, author of novellas, novels, short stories and nonfiction, and winner of the Nobel prize in literature in 1954. In 1949, Hemingway arrived in Cuba, where in 1940 he bought a house in the suburbs of Havana. Here he wrote his famous novel "The Old Man and the sea", for which he won the Pulitzer prize. These photos were taken during the writer's stay on the island.
