At the beginning of April on Violity was sold in rare numismatic instance – miliarity of Constantine I. The cost of the ancient coin was 33,333 hryvnia. The name of this large silver coin comes from the Latin miliarensis – "referring to the thousand". It was introduced into circulation at the beginning of the fourth century, when the Roman monetary system was being reformed.

Provided with a copy, which went to the new owner, is miliaresion early type. The obverse shows the bust of the Emperor, and the reverse shows the standards of the Imperial army. Constantine I, who later, after the death of his father in 306, became known as the Great, was proclaimed Augustus by the army. After defeating Maxentius in 312 and Licinius in 324, he became the sole sovereign ruler of the Roman state. Under the Emperor, Christianity became the dominant religion. In 330, an important event occurred that significantly influenced the subsequent history – the transfer of the capital to the city of New Rome, later renamed Constantinople. Under Constantine I, the Roman Empire finally established a system of dominates, in which the ruler had unlimited power.
