In honor of the 75th anniversary of the victory over the Nazi troops, a new coin will be released

A new Ukrainian coin "75 years of victory over Nazism in world war II" is dedicated to the end of world war II. The new product with a nominal value of 5 hryvnia will be in circulation from may 5. The obverse shows the small state Emblem of Ukraine, under which the name of the coin is located. On the side – the nominal value, year and country of issue. Under the text information is an image of a dove holding an olive branch in its beak, which symbolizes peace and freedom. On the right you can see the logo of the NBU mint.

The reverse shows a composition: a wire dividing the coin into two parts. The left part – military (date – 1939), the right – peaceful, with sprouted leaves (date – 1945). The composition symbolizes the rebirth after the end of a bloody war. The circulation of the coin, made of neizilber, is 40 thousand copies.
