In June of this year, in Beverly hills (USA), Julien's Auctions will be held, where a notebook belonging to Jim Morrison, the frontman of the band The Doors, will be put up for sale. The manuscript entitled "Paris journal" begins with the words: "so much forgotten already/ so much forgotten/ so much to forget". This notebook was in the archive of manuscripts, which was saved after the death of the musician by his friend Pamela Courson (Pamela Courson). The initial cost of the lot will be 80-100 thousand dollars.

In addition to the notebook, other items related to the rock musician will appear at the auction. The poem "Ode to Los Angeles, reflecting on the late Brian Jones" (Ode to LA While Thinking of Brian Jones, Deceived) is initially estimated at 1-2 thousand dollars. And the starting price of a photo of the musician, made by his friend Alain Ronay at California state University on December 1, 1967, is 2-3 thousand dollars. There are other recordings made by Jim Morrison in Paris: in 2007, one of these notebooks was sold for 140 thousand rubles. in 2013, another one was purchased for 200 thousand dollars.
