Italian accountant Claudia Borgogno became the owner of a painting by Pablo Picasso, estimated at 1.1 million dollars. The work of art went to a woman as a prize for winning the drawing. Her son gave Claudia a lottery ticket that was drawn in Paris, at the auction house Christie's.

The new owner of the painting was delighted with the prize. She always liked Picasso, and she still can't believe that one of the master's paintings is hanging in her house. A small canvas depicts a newspaper and a glass of absinthe on a wooden table. The painting was painted in 1921. It was provided to the auction by the billionaire David Nahmad. The draw was originally scheduled to take place in March, but due to the pandemic, it was postponed to may 20.

Residents of Italy, France, the United States, Switzerland and other countries participated in the drawing. A total of 51140 tickets were sold, 100 euros each.
