Ancient artifacts were found in one of the Norwegian residential buildings during the renovation. A married couple who own a house built in 1914, decided to make major repairs to the housing. To improve thermal insulation, residents decided to completely remove the floor and replace it with a new coating. Already at the first stage of work, they found an ancient bead and an axe. The couple immediately contacted the Nordland district administration.

Archaeologists who arrived at the site of the discovery of objects, suggested that the bead and axe belonged to a warrior buried here. The age of the artifacts is approximately 1 thousand years. The owners of the house will receive a reward for the find – remuneration from the government is a common practice for this country. The bead and axe are already in the Museum, and the old house is being excavated.
