Ernst Haas is one of the pioneers of color photography and strongly influenced the photographic art of the XX century. His work attracted the attention of the publishers of LIFE magazine, whose offer Haas declined because he did not want to be limited to the magazine format. In 1949, he became a member of the international group Magnum Photos - he was invited by another famous photographer, Robert Capa. Haas experimented with Kodachrome color film when he moved to the United States. Below are the results of the photographer's work.
