In Moravia (in the East of the Czech Republic), an Amateur archaeologist found a treasure - a pot with 74 gold coins. The find was sent to the city of Zlin - the coins became part of the collection of the Museum of South-Eastern Moravia. The contents of the pot were Austrian ducats and Turkish sequins. Scientists have suggested that the treasure was hidden in the XVI–XVII centuries. The origin of the treasure remains unknown, according to speculation, it may be the savings of one of the local residents who lived here several hundred years ago, or the production of a soldier.

At that time, this amount of gold coins was considered wealth. Now researchers are trying to determine what the approximate cost of coins is. Museum Director Paul Gruber evaluates a treasure trove of several million Czech crowns.
