Niue introduced a new silver coin decorated with Jasper. On the reverse is an incredibly beautiful composition in the form of a scarab with open wings, supplemented by several elements of precious stone. The coin, which can become a talisman, refers to the Egyptian culture. The obverse features a portrait of Elizabeth II. The nominal value of the new product is 1 Niue dollar, the diameter is 38.61 g, and the circulation is 500 copies. The coin is made of 999 silver.

In Egyptian mythology, the scarab was one of the most revered symbols. It was believed to follow a path similar to that of the Sun. The inhabitants of Egypt identified the scarab with the mystery of creating the heavenly body, and the God Khepri was depicted with the head of a beetle. His image can be found in tombs and on ancient papyri.
